History was made in 2008, when for the first time since televised coverage of the GAA Championships began a broadcaster other than RTE was granted live rights in the Republic of Ireland. Following a tender process TV3 turned to Motive/Playmaker to deliver the biggest Independent production since it had opened it's doors. Starting from scratch we built up the front of house and production teams, developed statistical and analytical innovations and brought the series to the point of contract renewal and beyond with popular and critical acclaim for the coverage.

Throughout our four years with TV3, we enjoyed a terr.ific relationship with the broadcaster and we continue to do so, finishing our contract on the best of terms with Economic conditions and changes in structure at TV3 ultimately meaning that production of the series moved in house
